My stay at the Reef Resort was a mixed bag. On one hand, the rooms we eventually found were clean and spacious, which was a huge plus. On the other hand, there were several issues that detracted from the experience. The staff, especially at the restaurant, were often rude and slow. Plus, the noise from poolside activities made it hard for my family to enjoy our time there, especially with young kids. It’s a decent option if you’re looking for a place to stay, but not ideal for families looking for a serene environment.
I've been coming to this hotel year after year, and it's consistently a wonderful experience! The oceanfront balconies and spacious, clean rooms are just fantastic. The staff makes every effort to ensure a pleasant stay, which I truly appreciate. However, the overall facilities are a bit dated, and I wish they would designate a few rooms as no-pet areas since pets are now allowed. Despite these minor drawbacks, it's still an excellent value for a beachfront vacation.
My stay at The Reef Resort had its ups and downs. The best part was the stunning beachfront view from my room, and the spacious feel of the suite was a plus. Unfortunately, I faced some service issues and the concern about cleanliness put a damper on the experience. Still, the pools were enjoyable and the food at Mako's was a highlight.
We had a somewhat mixed experience at The Reef. On one hand, the ocean view from our room was stunning, and the pools were enjoyable for the kids. However, the late-night party atmosphere made it challenging to swim comfortably, and the long wait for the elevator became quite frustrating. Overall, while it has some redeeming qualities, I wouldn’t say it’s the best choice for families seeking a quiet getaway.
I had a mostly pleasant stay at Myrtle Beach, with some highlights and a few drawbacks. The room was spacious with a kitchenette, and I loved the ocean view from the balcony. However, the hotel is somewhat dated and could use some renovations. The service left something to be desired, particularly with the housekeeping not replacing towels regularly.
